Thanksgiving Weekend

With about 42.5 million other travelers, we headed North last Wednesday to see some family for Thanksgiving.  Charlie got to see his cousins, and we got 2 Pennsylvania Thanksgivings, as usual.  Friday I even got Charlie to eat about 5 pieces of stuffing, which was pretty exciting. Then I decided to get him to try mashed potatoes which freaked him out and ended the whole meal.  I know I know, I pushed my luck.

Annie (20 months) and Charlie 2 1/2, Pretty much the same size!

All the cousins

It was a quick trip, and probably always will be as Dave's "year-end" for work is the end of November.  So he has just a few more days to hit is "billable hour" goals. Gotta love attorneys. (We do, he pays the bills!)

On the way home, we stopped at a rest stop and they have a new installation since the last time I stopped.  As soon as Charlie saw this "LOVE" art, he yelled "O!" That's the only letter he knows by sight, but he'll pick it out of a sign, or billbard, or this artwork.  He kept trying to climb up the side of the "O" and was frustrated that it couldn't be done.

Now, on to Christmas!
